I am happy to announce that Autodesk meshmixer07 is now available from the downloads page. There is a short video on youtube.

If you were using the mm06 betas, not a lot has changed yet - mainly bugfixes and UI tweaks. The hole-filling tool is significantly better. Check the startup news page for full details.

No OSX build yet (Lion broke some things), but I am actively working on it. The Drag-and-Drop tool is disabled for now, but should be back soon.

This is the great piece of news of the day! Any hint of the future development policy of MeshMixer within Autodesk?

i have to ask.. is it still free..?
 and if so for how about how long?

or is autodesk going to do what Pixologic did with sculptris,  and link and "integrate" it to Mudbox?

Sculptris is linked to Zbrush via GoZ..

meshMixer can have a send to mudbox button. or something..
(somewhere along the way its going to need retopo i think, maybe your other tool shapeshope could do that?
at least something to remove the triangles, to make it mudbox friendly)

Nice to see this project still alive and kickin :)
I like the new volume brush display. That red was realy distracting. Could you add an option to make the symmetry line invisible?
