Where are parts/mats/textures saved to on MAC OSX?
(1/1)
MagWeb:
Hi,
I wonder where the stuff (parts, materials, brushTextures) you add to the left side bar are saved to running MM on MAC.
I searched via Spotlight and manually in usual places (MM program package, Library/ApplicationSupport, UserDocuments...) but had no luck.
On WIN this stuff is in Documents/MM...
I´d like to import a part as an OBJ to do some modifications on it
RMS:
I don't have a mac in front of me to check right now, but I believe it is in ~/Library/Application Support/meshmixer
Possibly I moved it to Autodesk/meshmixer... but it should still be in ~/Library/Application Support/
MagWeb:
Ah, yes, found it finally... thanks
Users/SOMEBODY/Library is hidden since MAC OSX 10.7 Lion ::) - forgot about that, sorry.
One can show this folder via Terminal command:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
Now one can find the files in ~/Library/ApplicationSupport/meshmixer
EDIT: There´s another Library folder directly under Macintosh HD owning an Application Support folder too - that was the place I was looking in.
