From ShapeShop to MeshMixer
(1/1)
apelser:
Hi. I use ShapeShop, one of Rian's 1st 3D apps. (http://www.shapeshop3d.com/gallery/index.html) for my base mesh (its real quick) and then jump into MeshMixer for final detail and from there to Carrara Studio for rendering. Some pics attached to show the evolution from ShapeShop, MeshMixer and final render.
HolyEnigma74:
pretty cool. :)
I never "Carrara Studio" before.. is that like Poser?
RMS:
ShapeShop FTW! I was wondering if anyone else would pick up that connection...ShapeShop is a great way to whip up a base mesh for a more detailed model =)
apelser:
@Rian, why not incorporate ShapeShop as a module into MeshMixer for start off base meshes?
@'74, Carrara does modeling, posing, texturing, animation and rendering whereas Poser hasn't got the modeling module.
I prefer using Carrara (previously called RayDream Designer) for rendering cos' I'm more familiar with it... :)
Cheers!!
RMS:
Well, I won't say I haven't thought about it...
