Smaller Transform & Extrude Intervals, Flatten Selection

Would be great if we could make even finer, adjustments using the subject edit options.  The Extrude option for example currently gives us the option of .0001 offset intervals.  However, when working with a 2048 meter squared plane mesh (terrain), a -.0001 offset adjustment results in approximately a 1m drop.  What I'm trying to do is add vertical "cuts' to specific areas (tees, greens, fairways) which ideally would be a few inches.  I understand that Meshmixer doesn't have any set units per say which is fine.  If the adjustment interval was extended another couple decimal points it would allow for far more precise, finer control of your selection.

The other thing I would like to request is a Flatten option in the selection edit menu.  The only way to achieve this now is to use the Flatten type in the Extrude tool settings but this creates an additional break line of polys each time you apply an extrude, even if you leave the offset at 0.00.  A basic Flatten edit choice based on the selection would be a great addition, would also be nice if it had an offset adjustment tied to it.  EX: I make a selection, drop/raise as desired via extrude, then make manual selection around the border of the original selection and apply a Smooth edit.  Now if I want to flatten just the interior of my original selection I have to re-select it, Extrude edit at 0.0000 with Flat option.  But then I have an extra edge with a hidden row of polys.

Thanks,

Rat
